使用含 Node-Red 的 NCD 空氣品質感測器

世界逐漸開始回歸正常,對工作環境安全性的重視程度更勝以往。科技的發展有助於此。空氣品質是受重視的安全因素之一。National Control Devices (NCD) 針對空氣品質的監測有良好的配置。提供健全的記錄和控制自動化解決方案,能快速、容易進行設定。

此解決方案原為該公司的安全顧問所設計,用以監測生產設施的空氣品質。在多台焊接機器同時作業之下,空氣品質可能會很差。廠房內需要呼吸器,但希望能有一個方式能確認其必要性。所需配置的三項產品包含 IoT 邊緣電腦空氣品質感測器4 通道繼電器控制器。IoT 邊緣電腦是系統的中樞和儲存單元。這是小型的 Linux 控制器,預先安裝 Node-RED。空氣品質感測器是一款小型電池供電裝置。以 900 MHz 無線通訊協定運作,範圍為室內 1000 英尺和戶外 2 英里。側邊的通氣孔由風扇驅動,並具有排氣埠,可確保取得連續氣流樣本。感測器可以監測多種空氣微粒,但最常見的為 2.5 微米。也可監測濕度、溫度、二氧化碳。4 通道繼電器控制器具有 4 個繼電器、以 900 MHz 作業。

有了這三項裝置,便可輕鬆以 NCD 介面設定。此介面能讓使用者設定參數、查看 IoT 邊緣電腦、程式,以及檢視感測器的資料記錄。由於預先安裝 Node-RED,因此只需點選分頁,即可開始編程。一旦完成編程及安裝,使用者可以在介面看到所有感測器讀數。包含電池電量監測器讀數。

Travis started at National Control Devices in high school when he worked mainly in PCB manufacturing/assembly.  In 2010 he transitioned into a sales/support position. Travis started working in product and software development in 2012 where he developed Android and iPhone applications for NCD’s products. Currently, Travis works mainly in firmware development, however he also develops in many languages including NodeJS, Python, C++, etc. Some of his development projects include the Enterprise Gateways for AWS, Azure, and MQTT, the IoT Edge Computer, several Mirror series products, and many software resources for users. Travis has been on a great journey while growing up with NCD. He’s always excited to see what will be created next and to look forward to the adventure.
