Designed for today's high efficiency applications, Comchip's low VF Schottky bridge rectifiers are available in the industry's smallest bridge rectifier package, the TO-269AA (mini-dip). The CDBHD series Schottky bridges (1 A and 2 A, 20 V to 100 V) perform full wave rectification with an increased efficiency of 25% and better low voltage drop characteristics (0.44 V to 0.85 V vs. the standard 1.0 V to 1.2 V). They also rectify faster than standard bridge rectifiers. Compared to four standard SMA Schottky diodes for rectification, the mini-dip package reduces PCB space requirements by 50%. Comchip's CDBHD series of Schottky bridge rectifiers are truly 'green' products.
