The connector plug is available from 20 to 80 (in 10 position increments) and 100 circuits with both top and side entry mounting configurations available. The top-entry plug is offered in stack heights of 4.5mm, 5.0mm, and 6.0mm. The side-entry plug has a PCB mounted height of 5.6mm for applications that require a low-profile connection. The JMD connector plug is non-polarized (pin 1 defined by user) offering the user flexibility in the design. The contacts of the JMD connector plug are gold-plated, phosphor-bronze with tin-plated, copper undercoated brass solder tabs provided for added strength and stabilization. The plug is box-shaped with guide ribs on both ends to prevent distortion when mated to the receptacle connector.
