The LTM8061’s optional PowerPath™ control helps to ensure the supply rail’s maximum output current is not exceeded for reliable system operation. As shown in the graph, the LTM8061’s input current decreases as the system load increases in order to maintain an overall 1.5A maximum current draw from the supply.
