The MIC5370/71 are 150mA per channel, dual output low dropout regulators designed for general purpose applications operating from a 2.5V ~ 5.5V input. This series can regulate voltages down to 1V for application such as low voltage processor cores. In addition, the family offers high initial accuracy of 2% typical at room temperature, very low 32µA quiescent current, and a low dropout voltage of 155mV @ full load. This family is also 1µF ceramic output capacitor stable and offers thermal shutdown/current limiting protection. Finally, the series is offered in a small 1.6mm x 1.6mm, 6 pin, Thin MLF® package, and is pin for pin compatible with the MIC5320.
