NKK Switches' illuminated switches are ideal for applications necessitating minimal PCB-mount drilling
NKK Switches’ KP04 series surface-mount model has been added to their most popular illuminated pushbutton series for simple installation to the PCB. Some favorite features of the KP series, including RGB LEDs, light operability, and long lifetime, have been retained with this addition.
Features
- Surface-mount technology facilitates diminished board and material handling expenses in addition to minimizing the routing of traces and fewer drill holes
- The RGB LED dispenses a vibrant, full-color spectrum in unlimited color combinations
- RGB with a white option aids in reducing variations in color tones for white illumination, administering stable and consistent color
- Switch actuation is synchronized with contact timing, delivering color without delay and signaling safe, reliable, and intuitive operation
- Choice of nontactile or tactile/audible actuation
- Compact design with a height of 0.906” (23.0 mm) from the PC board to the top of the cap
- Flat, sculptured, or home-key square caps in three common sizes for design flexibility in diverse applications
- Twin contacts with gold plating ensure high reliability and a long lifetime of 3,000,000 operations (minimum)
- Custom legends available
- Remarkably precise coplanarity: all considered surfaces lying between two parallel planes are a maximum distance apart of 0.0039” (0.1 mm)
