This evaluation board is an offline, wide-range, VIPer22A-E dual-output power supply with a switching frequency of 60 kHz and is set up for secondary regulation with an optocoupler. One output delivers 5 V at 1 A and a second output delivers 12 V at 0.42 A, making for a total output power of 10 W.
This board is an off-line wide range dual output general-purpose power supply capable of delivering up to 24W through two outputs, +5V and +12V. The board is configured for secondary regulation with optocoupler feedback.
The aim of the presented reference boards is to propose a power supply solution based on an offline discontinuous current mode flyback converter with isolation between input and output. The VIPer12AS incorporates the PWM controller with 60 kHz internal oscillator and altogether with the vertical power MOSFET switch in a SO8 package.
