The AS5161 and AS5162 are based on a 14-bit core and have 12-bit output resolution. The AS5161 has a digital PWM output while the AS5162 delivers an analog output. The filter response is programmable to optimize the system propagation delay to output noise trade-off. The AS5161 and AS5162 offer the possibility to program the output characteristic and improve the non-linearity with a 4-point end-of-line linearization algorithm. Both ICs, the AS5261 and AS5262 are available in the fully redundant dual die version.
