The BH1780GLI has a 16-bit I²C digital output. The output responds primarily to visible light. A six-bit “resolution” register allows the user to set sensitivity, that is how much light change per lsb. The BH1780GLI offers a wide operating temperature range from -40°C ~ 85°C , choice of sensitivity, an I²C interface, 16 bit digital output, internal power down function, 50/60 Hz noise rejection for stable operation, and a 2.3 V to 3.0 V power supply voltage, with operation possible using 1.8 V I²C logic interface.
