The DR MagLev design also includes the innovative B & S Technology. The B & S technology, when integrated with the S & C design, provides the best prevention of oil leakage. As shown here, the previous MagLev model used the combination of cap and metal tube on the bottom of the fan housing to prevent oil leakage. For the DR MagLev model, the oil is retained in a chamber in the bottom of the fan housing. The use of the B & S Technology in this manner provides the best prevention against possible oil leakage.
