These charts show the Dynamic Characteristics of the POSISTOR®. Depending on the amount of current flowing through the POSISTOR and the ambient temperature, the time it takes the thermistor to react to an over-current event will vary. This time is called the attenuation time or operating time. Murata specifies “Operating Time” as the period of time that it takes the thermistor to decrease current from 50% of its initial value.
