In today's world, digital isolators are used in many applications. Three main application directions are specified on this slide. First, there is factory automation, where a large number of interfaces are used. For example, CAN, SPI, RS-232, and RS-485. The next main application of digital isolators includes different types of power supplies and converters. For example, server SMPS, UPS, solar inverters, telecom SMPS, and power supplies for lighting. Finally, the last big group includes smart metering solutions and chargers for electric vehicles.
