Molded in a Nylon 66 rated 94V-0 material, the polarized PA series housings incorporate a secure locking device to prevent accidental disconnection due to routing of wires or vibration. Available in 2 through 16 circuits (non-retainer type), housings are offered to allow for the use of an optional secondary retainer (available in 2 through 10 and 15 circuits) to enhance safety in the event of partial insertion or accidental release of the contact. The PA housings are interchangeable with the wire-to-wire PAL series for expanded application requirements. Recently introduced is a finger-friendly version of the PA housing available in 10 and 12 positions. This version has a bigger face to push by hand when mating from the headers making it easier in compact areas to connect and disconnect.
