Molded in Nylon 66 rated 94V-0 material, the polarized VL series housings incorporate a secure inner and outer locking device to prevent accidental disconnection due to routing of wires or vibration. An audible click is also heard and felt during mating which insures proper connections. The wire-to-wire housings can be used in free-hanging or panel mounted applications. The wire-to-wire receptacles incorporate a unique space-saving panel lock designed to prevent tangling with wires or breaking in cold or dry environments.
