In summary, the KMA36 is a universal non-contact position and motion encoder using magneto-resistive technology. It is offered in rotary and linear modes with selectable PWM, analog, or I2C outputs. It features thirteen bit (0.04 degree) resolution, a sleep mode, and is available in an easy to use TSSOP package. The KMA36 works well with readily available third party magnets.
