The LPC551x/S1x MCU family continues to expand NXP’s Arm^® Cortex^®-M33-based LPC5500 MCU series, offering significant advantages for developers, including pin-, software- and peripheral-compatibility for ease of use, accelerating time to market. Leveraging 40nm technology, LPC551x/S1x MCUs can achieve high performance levels with up to 150MHz while maintaining low active current numbers. The LPC551x/S1x MCU family features high system integration with high-precision ADCs, CAN-FD interface and high-speed USB with PHY on top of the usual LPC5500 MCU series features. This family also leverages Arm’s TrustZone^®-M technology enabling robust levels of protection while NXP’s IP security blocks complement and provide enhanced security integration. Like other NXP’s microcontrollers, LPC551x/S1x is also fully supported by NXP’s MCUXpresso ecosystem with rich SDK examples, complimentary IDE and security tools to enhance the user’s experience.
