One of the factors that has been driving new product innovations in the terminal block world is the demand for higher power. Electronics in end products are required to provide more and more functionality, and therefore terminal blocks are often times being looked at to handle higher current and higher voltages (up to 600V). Higher temperature products are also being sought after in more and more applications for the same reason.
